Air atomised tin powders manufactured using high purity ingots and yielding nodular or spheroidal particles.
Available in a range of particle sizes down to 20µm. Properties and therefore uses vary depending on particle size, shape and surface area.
The tin powder range is characterised by powders having high purity, low lead (Pb) content and produced with tight control of particle size and good batch to batch reproducibility.
Tin powders are used in diverse markets and technologies and typical applications include pressed and sintered components, bearings and bushings, metallurgical alloying, chemical processes, friction parts, mechanical plating, decorative (cold casting, cold metal spray), welding and brazing, diamond tooling, electronics, radiation shielding, etc.
