Irregular bronze powders produced by water atomisation and available in a wide range of particle sizes and alloy compositions.
The powders are characterised by having low lead (Pb) content and good batch to batch reproducibility. They also facilitate good green strength and compressibility.
Irregular Bronze Powders are used in many applications and technologies. Typical uses include pressed and sintered components, bearings and bushings, friction parts, bronze-filled PTFE for hydraulic seals, surface engineering, cold casting and cold metal spray, welding and brazing, diamond tooling, etc.
The table below represents just a selection of available alloy compositions and particle sizes.
